Ninjas in Pyjamas round out VALORANT roster

European organization Ninjas in Pyjams finalize roster with three new signings. As first reported by 1pv.fr, Enzo “Fearoth” Mestari, Charles “CREA” Beauvois, and Damien “HyP” Souville have officially joined the team.

The Frenchmen trio join Niels “luckeRRR” Jasiek and Emir “rhyme” Muminovic, who were already signed to NiP.

Hyp is a former Overwatch player. He has represented his country in the Overwatch Cup, played in Overwatch contenders and on the Overwatch League team Paris Eternal. Him, luckeRRR and rhyme recently placed second in the Vitality European Open on an amateur team.

Fearoth and CREA are two former Counter Strike players. Both have played on multiple teams at the highest level. Fearoth quit Counter Strike to pursue VALORANT around the time Europe started having serious tournaments. CREA retired in 2018 but joined the VALORANT competitive scene with Hyp on the former Overwatch player’s team, HypHypHyp.

“Our ambition has and always will be to field a top-tier lineup – our faith in the VALORANT scene and Riot’s plans for it remains strong and we’ll stop at nothing to get to the top spot. It’s become clear that CS:GO experience is a strong predictor of VALORANT performance, and adding the spice of the highest level of Overwatch competition through HyP makes for a really strong foundation. This squad has an extremely high skill ceiling, has already proven itself competitively, and fits very well into our vision for team chemistry and esports performance. I couldn’t be happier.” Wrote Jonas Gundersen, COO of Ninjas in Pyjamas, in the team’s announcement.
