Team Liquid to sign fish123 roster and ScreaM for VALORANT squad

As first reported by French first-person shooter game website 1pv on Monday July 13th, Team Liquid have signed European squad fish123 and Euopean Counter Strike legend Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom.

fish123 was one of Europe’s top VALORANT teams, winning the Mandatory Cup and Solary Cup, as well as a third-fourth place finish in the Fnatic Proving Grounds event.

Unlike some North American organization, European teams reportedly are looking to sign big names to their VALORANT teams before taking on smaller players like the fish123 squad. This is why the squad is being bundled with ScreaM ,who is a French CS veteran and quite popular.

The team parted ways with Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, one of fish123’s most promising players, in June for G2 Esports. Now, the team will compete under the Liquid banned with a different ace.

Fish123 are set to play in the WePlay! Invitational this Wednesday, July 15 and it is unclear if the team will assume the Liquid brand before the event.
